capri sun SUPER V

No Big Dill is hosting a $1000 gift card giveaway courtesy of Capri Sun Super V.
I honestly just bought these last weekend for Atticus' soccer team!
They taste really good and contain 100% juice, including vegetable juice.
I will definitely buy these again.
Thanks!
You can enter here, too.

dove giveaway

One of the blogs I read, No Big Dill, is hosting a $1000 gift card giveaway, courtesy of Dove.  I have to say, their Men+Care line is our favorite for Brandon!  It smells really great and works well too!
Thanks!

blogging your way moodboard

For my Blogging Your Way online class (which I am LOVING, by the way), I made a moodboard to examine what exactly I want to do with my blog...

The warm woolen heart represents my love for my family and friends, and the thank you tag reminds me to always be full of gratitude.
Blogging helps me capture and appreciate the small moments in my life.
I'm hoping to capture my interests in photography, crafting, vintage, style, and design, and showcase my etsy shop (the notecard) and photo biz.
I put my name on there to remind me to be myself and to know who I am (something I have struggled with in the past) and the circus stripes and glitter are for the magic I crave in my life.
The "MOONLIT" blocks are vintage finds and I set up my board on a beat-up antique table to remind me that life doesn't have to be perfect to be beautiful.
The design is bold and colorful because I love drama--in art, music, clothing, food...but not so much my personal life, haha.

a very exciting day

Birmingham Zoo, a set on Flickr.

we went to the Birmingham Zoo! It was the best day ever, we even rode a camel! I couldn't figure out how to change RAW camera files to jpegs for the blog on my dad's apple so I just made a flickr set. So there's way too many. :)

My mom delighted us with this incredible dessert last night for Family Home Evening. She doesn't want to make the recipe public just yet but she did agree to make more for today "so that I could photograph it" (wink, wink).
Don't worry--I will be making this treat for Christmas!
